Front cover development

The person i chose to use for my photo-shoot was my friend jack , i felt that he had the right look and image for my magazine .I believe the image is in very good focus and i like the background with the main source of light centered on him .

The next two stages were picking in the design where to set the text on the page ( what looked good ).I first chose to just use black and white and different text for contrast.

overall i like the idea but i don't feel the spacing has been used to its best potential and looking at it i don't think the text links (the text looks out of place) .I also think the heading font does not fit with the magazine image (indie) looks like font for a magazine with the genre of drum and base or dubstep.

Yes james i really like the title and the way you presented it, i think it looks cool and the colors you've used as well. However i think the cover lines need more like done to them because at the moment they look basic. Looks wicked!

It looks really good and i like the picture I do think that you should put some more writing or pictures to try and fill up the space a bit more.
Well done :)

Yes Ellis! Front page looking good i like the three colours you have used and the way how you have kept a house stlye to your front page! If i was to change one thing i would position the sticker which is in the top right hand corner more slanted so it looks like it has actaully been stuck on physically! Apart from that quality! ;)

Good stuff James, coulours are really effective.
Quite a lot of space, so could perhaps add a few things.
Nice title and lighting however.

I love the photo on this, looks like it was taken by an actual photographer :) I also like how you've only used 3 colours.
Only thing is that there is a bit of blank space, so maybe try and add in some more cover lines.
